My artistic name carries a deeply emotional story, and perhaps, to truly understand what my art is, one must first understand what it represents to me. I am Brazilian, born in the state of Rio de Janeiro, and LUH was born from my relationship with my mother, who always called me “Lu.” She was the one who gave me the strength and courage to follow the path of art. From a very young age, she believed in me unconditionally and supported me every step of the way, with every line I drew. She was my greatest encouragement, my loudest applause. She taught me to see the world in a unique way, where every moment, every experience, could be transformed into art. And it was with that belief and that love that I created my identity as an artist.
Art has always been a part of me, something that simply emerged from childhood as a way of seeing the world and expressing myself. From my first drawings and paintings, I knew it was something natural, a form of communication that made sense to me. In my teenage years, I began getting involved with collective exhibitions, and it was in that environment that I felt how much sharing my art with others made my heart beat faster. But the decisive moment for me came at 18, when I held my first vernissage, a solo exhibition that marked the beginning of my journey.
My journey in the art world started naturally. Since childhood, I’ve been fascinated by how colors, shapes, and textures could express emotions and stories that words could not say. I felt a deep connection with the world around me, and this connection has always been mediated through art. But the art I explore is not just visual. I also lived and grew up in the world of fashion design and graphic design, fields that broadened my aesthetic perspective and my ability to communicate visually.

Fashion design has always been a passion that drove me to go beyond. It led me to explore how aesthetics can tell stories and convey emotions. I saw fashion as an extension of the human body, a form of personal expression and identity. More than just creating visually interesting pieces, I have always sought to understand how design can affect the way we see ourselves and how we feel in the world. Fashion has this power: it can be revolutionary and transformative, capable of translating the invisible and giving shape to what’s inside us.
Graphic design, in turn, brought to my journey an even more attentive approach to communication and the construction of visual narratives. Working with graphic elements taught me how to translate feelings, ideas, and concepts into images that impact, that tell silent yet profound stories. It was in this dialogue between fashion, visual art, and design that I found my path to creating something authentic that would reflect the complexity of being human in every stroke, every composition.
But my artistic journey is not just about brushstrokes on canvases or the creation of pieces or graphic projects. Over the years, my interest in philosophy, self-knowledge, and even quantum physics shaped my way of seeing the world and, consequently, of expressing myself through art. I believe everything is interconnected. My art is a reflection of my internal quests, my uncertainties, and my discoveries about the universe and about myself. When I immerse myself in creation, I’m not just making a piece, but exploring the infinite possibilities that the world and human consciousness have to offer.
Urban art, for example, has a great influence on my work. The streets, with their raw and imperfect beauty, showed me that art doesn’t need to be perfect to be powerful. Graffiti, the chaos of cities, the diversity of people — all of this inspires me to capture the ephemeral, the unpredictable, the beauty that arises from imperfection. I believe that true art lies in authenticity, in being faithful to who we are, without fear of showing our fragilities, our challenges, and our complexities.
Along the way, philosophy, quantum physics, and neuroscience began to show me something I already felt: reality is not fixed, it is shaped by our consciousness. And through art, we have the ability to transform what surrounds us, to create new perspectives and new realities. Each of these fields helped me realize that we are in constant evolution and that, in a way, we are the creators of our own world.
My art is a blend of these different elements. Each piece is like a small reflection of what we are, of the stories we carry, and of the infinite possibilities that lie ahead of us. Through imperfect textures, I seek to create something that goes beyond aesthetics, something that provokes a sensation, that sparks reflection, that makes you see the world in a new way.
Because, in the end, art is more than something we observe. It’s about who we are, what we feel, and how we are always in motion, always changing, always recreating ourselves. Art, life, being everything is connected. And it’s through this connection that I find my inspiration to keep creating.
I see myself as a creator of worlds, someone who, through art, fashion design, and graphic design, has the ability to transform the reality around them. Each of my pieces is an attempt to capture the invisible energy that exists between things, to translate the human experience into forms, colors, and textures. For me, art is the purest form of expression, a reflection of my essence and my perception of the world. And it is this energy that I want to transmit in every piece I create. Because I deeply believe that art has the power to heal, to transform, and to help us see beyond what the eyes can see.
But it’s not just about the art itself, it’s about the message it carries. What do I want you, who is observing me, to feel when looking at my pieces? I want you to connect, to realize that art is not something distant, something only accessible to an elite or a restricted group of people. Art is for everyone. It’s in the simple, in the everyday, in what seems imperfect. Each of my works is an invitation: an invitation to reflect, to feel, to reinvent yourself. I want you to see my art not just as an aesthetic object but as a tool for personal transformation.
Throughout my life and artistic career, I have been shaped by all the challenges I’ve faced. Each difficulty, each moment of pain or doubt, contributed to my growth. And this is what I want to pass on to those who connect with my art: the message that transformation is possible, that challenges can be overcome, and that art is one of the greatest forces we have to do that. It not only helps us understand the world but gives us the tools to recreate our own reality.
A LUH, therefore, is not just an artistic name. It is the representation of everything I’ve lived, of everything I am, and everything I’m still becoming. My art is an extension of myself, an extension of what I was, what I am, and what I’m still discovering. And the best part is that you, who are now reading my words and observing my creations, are also part of this process. Because, in the end, art is about connection. Connection with the universe, with people, and most importantly, with ourselves.
My artistic journey continues, and with each new work, with each new piece, there is more space for evolution, more space for new discoveries, and for reinvention. I invite you to walk with me in this process.
To look at my works and feel the same energy that moves my creation.
Art is, without a doubt, the path through which I find my truth, and I invite you to find yourself too, to express yourself, to connect with something greater.
And, in the end, perhaps together, through art, we can transform the world around us.
